Excellent experience with oral surgery and dental procedures with both Dr. N. Sivakumar, DMD and Dr. Gopikiran Thota, DMD “Dr. Gopi”. Both doctors exceeded my expectations regarding procedures and care afterwards. Their staff was also professional and courteous.

My latest visit here was March 2026. Last written review here was in 2018 and at that time I had been coming here for 4 years. Crazy how time flies. My main man Dr Dave has been gone for a while now therefore things have certainly changed. I'm not as impressed with the current staff and have considered leaving a few times. I definitely can't say anything bad about the dentists. You know how in any line of work, you're going to have those standout workers that just make a difference in the place, a difference in the customer/client experience. Bed side manner and such...Well for me Dr Dave was that standout. The only complaint I do have is they have now incorporated an AI Bot to answer calls. Very aggravating. I requested a detailed receipt through the bot and it seemed to comprehend what I needed, even confirming my email. I didn't get it. Spoke to a human in the call center they use, requested it again, still didn't get it. After waiting a whole week and nothing, I called in again and this time i got the office on the first dial. I got the detail recpt not even 5 minutes later. Called another time, during open hours for a separate request and got the AI bot, I was transferred to the call center for my question. I ultimately left a message with them to have the office call me. No call. I'm not sure where the gap is but good luck getting answers if you don't reach the actual office when you call. Here is my previous review from 2018-> I am completely shocked by the bad reviews. I've been coming to this Dr. Dave for the past 4 years. I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else that's how much I love this office. The staff and Dentist are caring and very cordial. I've never experienced the pain or mistakes during procedures like I have at other dentists. I've been burned and stabbed with tools at other places but not here. Staff at other places rude and unprofessional but not here! They are indeed a bit more expensive than my previous Dentist depending on what you're getting but I'd gladly pay more for higher quality work and products. I like their top of the line crowns which brings me to why I decided to write today's review. I went in wanting a crown replaced done by another Dentist in the HEB area around 2013. The crown seemed to have slipped some and was not a good match in my mouth like the crowns Dave has done. So for cosmetic reasons and because I thought the tooth was or would cause me problems from slipping I told them I wanted it replaced. I was ready card in hand...to fork over almost $900!!! This office is NOT money hungry!!! Dr Dave inspected the crown and said while I might not like how it looks... it's sound. He tested it for pain and sensitivity and he found no issue with the crown. Maybe if I would've insited they may have done the work but for me I think it's great that he treated my concern seriously. Checked everything out but ultimately said hey I don't want you to give us money when there's truly no reason to. This office is A O.K. with me!!!
